Andrew Schutt,named the Joel Ferrell Award winner for wrestling

Andrew Schutt, 18, was named the Joel Ferrell Award winner for wrestling, as the 5 day tournament came to a close on Friday, August 7th.
Andrew traveled with his team, Michigan Red, to compete in the tournament. This was his sixth appearance at the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
In those six years, Andrew has only lost 5 times. He is a three time gold medalist, and a four time All-American.
He is also a four time high school placer. He placed third his freshman year, third his sophomore year, first his junior year and third his senior year.
He was also named the Yale High School Male Athlete of the Year. Next year he will be attending the University of Buffalo, in New York, on scholarship.
