AAU Powerlifting Vice Chair runs to prepare for Powerlifting Event

Maryland – AAU Powerlifting Vice Chair, Judy Wood ran a 50 mile race on the weekend of, Nov. 21st – 22nd in Maryland. It took a full
11 hours and 40 minutes to reach the finish line, runners had to complete the course in 12 hours. The first 15 miles were on the Appalachian Trail and the last 35 miles on the C & O Railroad foot trail.
Judy Wood said, “It was the toughest thing I have ever done physically and mentally.” Judy and her husband Steve will be running the AAU World Powerlifting Championships, International Push/Pull & Single Lift Championships at the Crown Reef Resort, Myrtle Bch, SC, this Thanksgiving weekend.
