Season 9 had 16 couples dancing their way through the competition vying for the title of Dancing with the Stars Season 9 Champion. Who were these celebrities? Let’s take a look…

Kathy Ireland: model, actor, Sunday School Teacher and CEO of Kathy Ireland Worldwide
This famous bikini beauty supermodel is now married with three children, an author, a Sunday School Teacher and the CEO of her billion dollar business. Kathy runs the show at Kathy Ireland Worldwide; she is beauty and brains trying to become a dancing Champion to add to her list.
Dancing partner: Tony Dovolani
Louie Vito: professional snowboarder
A 21 year old from Bellefontaine, Ohio traded in his snowboard and winter jacket for dancing shoes and “showy” clothes. He is a 2 time winner of the USSA Grand Prix Half pipe Series. Be sure to look for him in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Macy Gray: singer, songwriter
Macy made her debut album “On How Life Is” and her single “I Try” were both #1 on the charts. Her raspy voice as a soul singer won the hearts of individuals but she wanted to try to win their hearts by dancing on the hardwood floor.
Dancing partner: Jonathan Roberts
Mark Dacascos: Chairman and host of the Iron Chef America
As a young boy he began training in the martial arts in Hawaii with his mother and father. He was discovered in San Francisco’s Chinatown, going on to have a T.V. and film career. Mark wanted to challenge that martial art quickness and agility can prove to be helpful with the elegance and gracefulness of dancing.

Melissa Joan Hart: actor, producer and director
She began acting at the young age of 4. You might remember her from Clarissa Explains it All and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. She is the proud mother of two and happily married. Melissa has acted, produced and directed, but can she dance?
Dancing partner: Mark Ballas
Michael Irvin: former Dallas Cowboy and ESPN Radio Host
Irvin is known as one of the most successful wide receivers in NFL history. He played with Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith for the Dallas Cowboys. Michael has 3 Super Bowl Championships, he went to the Pro Bowl five times and was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 2007; but would he add Dancing with the Stars Champion to his trophy case?

Natalie Coughlin: Olympic Swimming Gold Medalist
Natalie is the most decorated female athlete of the 2008 Beijing and the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. She won gold in every Olympic event she has entered, with a total count of 11 medals. Can she finish on top of the podium for Dancing with the Stars?

Tom Delaney: politician
This Texas Native put on his dancing shoes for Season 9. Tom was a former House of Majority Leader for the Republicans. He was known for his aggressive character and has been nicknamed the “Hammer.” A leader in politics on the Congress floor but what about on the dance floor?
