Morgan Rorick, a 13 year old, recently won 10 medals, including four gold medals at the AAU Junior Olympics recently held in Des Moines, Iowa.

She competed against some of the top U.S. and international swimmers in her age group at short and long distance races.

Morgan is a former Freeman Southwest Family YMCA?Otters swim team member, coached by Shana Meadows. She attended Neosho School District from 2005 to 2007.

Rorick won four gold and six silver  medals in the 13-, 14-year old age group at the AAU Junior Olympics held in Des Moines, Iowa.

Morgan is the daughter of Kevin Rorick, a teacher at Neosho Middle School, and currently resides in Jackson, Mo. She trains and swim competitively year round for the “Gators” swim team out of Cape Girardeau.
