Georgia AAU Jump Rope District Chairman has received the prestigious NASPE Star award along with her colleagues at Shiloh Point Elementary School in Cumming, GA. Her school is one of only 44 in the nation to be honored by the National Association for Sport and Physical Education. Such schools and educators exemplify excellence in quality physical education promoting health-related fitness and lifelong physical activity.

Cate and her colleagues will be honored at the 125th AAHPERD Convention in Indianapolis in March.

Cate states that her Jump Rope program and team, The Georgia Jumpers, were a major factor in the receipt of this honor.
