Long time AAU Powerlifting supporter Keith Ward has been named AAU Powerlifting District Director in Hawaii.

Says AAU Powerlifting Vice Chairman Martin Drake, “Keith was previously in this position, but expanded business opportunities took precedence in recent years. Keith has a strong relationship with the AAU, WABDL, USAPL and others and we fully expect he will be taking his wonderful youth teams to events in many organizations as well as anchoring our presence in Hawaii. Keith has introduced many young lifters to powerlifting and has traveled to the mainland for AAU and other events since 1996. His previous AAU meets in Hawaii have been very well run, fun and competitive events”.
