LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL- Are you ready to rumble? These guys sure are! June 28th- July 3rd, 122 wrestling teams will invade the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida for the AAU Wrestling Scholastic Duals. They will be competing in a week of intense wrestling matches, each team hoping to be the ones on top.

The AAU Wrestling Scholastic Duals consist of four divisions. The District  All-Star Division has 41 teams, Community D-I 39, Community D-II 22, and Developmental has 20 teams. Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania will be responsible for the largest number of teams.

The District All-Star division’s 2011 Champions, Middle Atlantic Blue, are returning with hopes to bring home another championship. With a final score of 28-18, Middle Atlantic Blue dismantled the Keystone Brawlers. This year, they are boasting two state champions on their roster. Falcon Blue also hopes to grasp a second championship in the Community D-I division. Last year, they slid past CN Moeller 30-26 to take home the gold.

Action kicks off  with weigh-in’s for Community Divisions 1 &2 on Thursday, June 28th and for the District All-Star and Developmental Divisions, on Friday June 29th. Competition begins on the 29th and 30th. The finals will be broadcasted LIVE on ESPN3.com on July 3rd from 4pm to 7pm EST.
