The Amateur Athletic Union is very excited about the upcoming 79th Annual AAU James E. Sullivan Award for 2008.

The nomination forms for 2008 are online at aausports.org.

If you know of an individual athlete who possesses outstanding athletic ability, great character, strong leadership skills and excellent sportsmanship, the AAU wants to honor him or her as the 79th recipient of the Sullivan Award and the Amateur Athlete of the Year.

The award ceremony will take place at the New York City Athletic Club on April 15th, 2009.
