The Montana AAU 14U Grand Prix took place in Billings, MT from April 25-26, 2009. The tournament was hosted by Rimrock Volleyball Club at Billings Skyview and Castle Rock Schools. Twenty-eight teams from all over Montana and Wyoming competed in the Mountain West Championships, to make it a very successful event.

The tournament was open to 14 & under teams that wanted to test their skills against other top teams from the area. This two-day event started with pool play on Saturday, followed by single elimination bracket play on Sunday.

In the 14U gold division, the Project Spikers 1 were crowned ‘Grand Prix’ Champions after defeating the Montana Juniors 1. In the 14U silver division, the Project Spikers 3 were crowned ‘Grand Prix’ Champions after defeating the Montana Juniors 2.
